These terms apply to Branch: trybranch.xyz and the Branch app. By using Branch or creating an account, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Who can use Branch

You need to be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. Keep your account to yourself; you're responsible for what's done with it.

What's not allowed

Don't write, make, upload or share anything that:

• is sexual, or involves minors in any sexual or harmful way;
• harasses, bullies, threatens or targets real people, or shares someone's private information;
• promotes hate or violence against people because of who they are;
• shows or encourages self-harm, or real, graphic violence meant to shock;
• is illegal, or promotes illegal activity;
• copies other people's work, characters or likeness without the right to, or impersonates someone;
• is spam, misleading, or tries to break, overload or get around how Branch works.

Dramatic stories are fine: tension, conflict and danger are what stories are made of. The line is content that harms real people or breaks the rules above.

Reporting and moderation

Anyone can report a clip with Report on the player. We review reports, and we may remove content, hide stories, or suspend or delete accounts that break these terms, with or without notice. Descriptions are also checked automatically before they become videos.

What you make

You keep whatever rights you have in what you write and upload. By publishing on Branch, you let us host, show, copy and adapt it to run Branch, including letting other people watch it, choose it, and continue it with their own branches, and showing it in promotion for Branch. You can delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). Only publish things you have the right to.

AI-made clips

Clips are made by AI from descriptions, and the results can be unexpected or imperfect. You're responsible for what you ask it to make. Don't use it to create anything this page doesn't allow.

Daily clips

Making clips is limited to a number per day, which we may change. Clips aren't money, have no cash value, and can't be transferred.

Changes and availability

Branch is new, and we'll keep changing it: features may be added, changed or removed. We may update these terms; if a change is significant we'll tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use Branch after that means you accept the new terms.

No guarantees

Branch is provided as it is, without promises that it will always be available, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of Branch.
